• We are partnering with Rise Counseling Services to offer a 7 week book club where we will learn about the transformative power of grace to heal shame, the importance of vulnerability in relationships, and how to reclaim our identity and narrative through personal growth and connection.  

    For: Adult women seeking to overcome shame, embrace personal growth, and deepen emotional resilience in a supportive, faith-based community .

    About: This will be a guided book journey through “The Soul of Shame” by Curt Thompson. The book club will be co-led by our owner and clinical director Christy Birgen, LPC, LMFT and Dana Martinez, LPC owner and clinical director of Rise Counseling Services. We will discuss and explore topics such as shame, identity, connection, narrative, vulnerability, spirituality, self-compassion, and healing. This is a biblically based study and discussion. All are welcome.   

    When: Our first night will be Wednesday June 18th at 6:30pm. 

    Going forward, we will meet Tuesday nights 6:30-8:30pm beginning June 24th. 

    Where: 401 N. Main Street Suite 108, Bryan

    Cost: $150 for all 7 weeks, includes book & materials
