Christy Birgen, M.A., LPC, LMFT; Founder/Clinical Director
My approach to therapy is grounded in the emotional human experience, with a Christian framework. My style combines the science of attachment theory, the power of emotion as a change agent, and integration of psychological, social, and spiritual dimensions. I view counseling as a safe place of acceptance and compassion where client and therapist work together to bring the client back to their personal place of hope and well-being.

Cara Charanza, LMFT-Associate
My approach to counseling is systemic and grounded in attachment theory, a Christian worldview, and the power of emotions that serve as our compass. I believe each person is unique, created by God, highly valued, and can overcome hardships, pain, and despair. I explore how thoughts, beliefs, and emotions impact personal well-being and the health of relationships. To understand where we are going, we need to know how we arrived at this crossroads. Change begins through the therapeutic relationship built on trust, acceptance, honesty, and emotional connection.

Abi Bryant, Graduate Student Counselor
My approach to therapy pulls from systemic and person-centered approaches to therapy, with a Christian background. I believe that each person was created in a unique and individual way by God, and our experiences through family, community, and relationships shapes who we are. I view therapy as a safe and comfortable environment in which the client and therapist work towards peace and hope.

About Jimmy Loer, Graduate Student Counselor
My approach to therapy comes with a faith-based foundation. After God, then I focus on structural and emotion-focused therapy. We are all part of God’s plan, and the last time I checked, failure and mistakes were never mentioned in that plan. I believe God created men and women to be unique and purposeful in our journeys to serve him.
