  • About Abi Bryant, Graduate Student Counselor

I’m Abi, a pastor’s kid and special needs sibling who has dreamed of helping people since I was a young girl. After graduating from Texas A&M with a degree in psychology, I knew that God had called me to pursue a career in therapy.

I am currently a master’s level student in Abilene Christian University’s Family and Marriage Therapy Program and am completing my internship under the supervision of Christy Birgen. I aim to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and work to help people find hope and healing.

I have a passion for families in ministry, special needs families, and relationships.

Abi offers premarital counseling for FREE. All other counseling sessions are at a reduced rate of $50 per session. If you would like to meet with Abi, just let us know in the contact form!

    Education

I earned my B.A. in Psychology at Texas A&M University, College Station, and I am currently working on my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at Abilene Christian University.

    Three Facts About Me

    Healing is Possible

Although many people wish healing could happen instantly, healing is a process that takes time.

Baking is my favorite form of self care.

I love to bake cookies, pastries, and anything I can try. Plus, the best part is eating after they are done baking!

It’s okay to not be okay!

Growing up in ministry, I saw many people hiding their emotions in order to be “perfect”. Emotions are real, and I would love to help you during your journey with them.
